AberSwing
AberSwing is the one and only club to join in Aberystwyth if you like swing dance.
The group holds regular sessions and classes, and everyone from beginners right through to Fred Astaire himself are welcome to come along.
A number of social dance sessions are also held throughout the year where possible.
Members are all enthusiastic about swing, which is a dancing style going back to the 1930s and 1940s. A number of well known dances emerged from the era, non more well known than the lindy hop.
A small charge is payable for dance classes in order to maintain the running of the group, which has been swinging away since late 2004.
