Tan-Y-Coed is a Forestry Commission managed site with a small number of trails which work their way through the beautiful beech woodland and along Cwn Cadian.
The site offers a great starting point for longer walks in and around the Dyfi Valley, as well as being the start and end point of some shorter waymarked trails. Details of these trails along with a map can be found on the Forestry Commission .
Based just a few miles beyong the town of Machynlleth the site can also be reached by bus.
